Thank you for not speaking. This allowed me to observe what you did and changed on my own. It trains my observation skills and creates lasting "aha"-moments. The best teachers are those who show us how to boldly "just do it" without fear of making mistakes. It was exciting when you tried your "bold strokes" (my biggest fear 😅 now I will try it too!). I love how you approach mental approach rather than techniques. I absolutely agree with you! The mental aspect of me not letting go of control is what keeps me from upgrading my paintings.

Thank you so much for a great class. I started painting in my early sixties and I hope I have enough time in my life to at least master the basics. There is so much to learn! I enjoy your classes I have watched and I immediately subscribed. I love painting florals and animals but I am up to learn it all. I have found that 300 lb cotton paper takes many layers but I often get carried away and overwork, when I should have stopped sooner. How do you know when enough is enough with layering?
